Once a month
Gala Darling announces the theme for International Dress Up Day. It's nothing terribly formal, but it's an excuse for a bit of a dress up and this month's theme being the fantastic film noir, Davyd and I both decided to dress up.

We couldn't do anything with the lighting or the atmosphere as we were going out to a party, so everything we wanted to say had to be reflected in what we were wearing.
D is wearing a coat recently purchased from Man-to-Man in town, a pinstripe work shirt and a tie from house of target. The fedora was borrowed from the wonderfully obliging
justadecoy. I am wearing a pink pinstripe shirt and a brown skirt picked up on a recent, highly successful op shop forage (Anglicare in Midland), an old pair of knee highs and a very old tweed frock coat from England. The cane was left behind by
shigawire after a party four years ago, and though he lives one suburb away I find that I've yet to return it. I am also wearing incredibly thick, bright red lipstick.

PS: I found the Indian food place on my way to Dim Sum today. Now that I know where it is, I'll def. go. Thanks again!
